D-Day is upon me. I have my first fantasy football draft of the year today. The weight of success in this season largely rests on what happens today. Drafts are ever changing by the second as no one places the same about of value on every player. There are varying strategies that are put in play depending on when you picks are the style of the draft and how you want to load your roster. The only certainty going to a draft is the uncertainty that your best laid plans should be shredded going into it. No matter the number of mock drafts and preparation you put in to it, you will never be ready for the reach in the third round for a player you were looking at drafting in the seventh round.

So I’m not exactly sure I’m not wasting my time pouring over draft magazines and online rankings, I may never know, I’m just hoping that this preparation manifests itself by way of a great draft. So here’s to D-Day, may it be successful!
