Live Your Best Life
Life is fragile; this was made very apparent to me Friday morning when I found out that a friend from high school had passed away from Cancer. It was and still is a shock to my system. I knew Jerret had cancer but it still didn’t seem possible that he could die so young.
We only get one life. As much as I despise the term YOLO it’s the truth, although I see it as a precautionary tale more so than anything else. Sometimes in life you only get one chance to do something the right way, and if you don’t put your right foot forward and approach it as such you may never get another chance to make it right.
So remember that life isn’t promised, act accordingly, don’t wait to do things, get out and do them now. And always, always act how you want to be remembered, don’t sacrifice your character for a little fun, you can make up the fun, your character however can’t be replaced.
These are two lessons that have hit home over the last week, due to events I hope to never have to witness or be a part of again.
