Who am I?
Good Question!

My grandpa says I'm a social butterfly. My grandma says I watch too much sports. They are both right. If you asked me, I'd probably say, "I like sports, social media, and people. Maybe not in that order."

I live in and work in Eugene, Oregon, I moved from Scottsdale and was very much dismayed with the lack of sunshine Eugene had to offer. In my few years here in Eugene I have come to embrace the weather even to the point of missing the rain during the summer. The change in location definitely hindered my ability to play golf, but I’ve come to enjoy all that Eugene was to offer. Close to the mountains, rivers, waterfalls and the coast for anyone who likes the outdoors it’s a great place to live.

I work at a retirement community, and have become involved with volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association, specifically with The Walk To End Alzheimer's. Alzheimer’s is the most prevalent form of Dementia, and is one of the most horrible diseases known to man, that no one seems to know a lot about. It is a cause that is worth joining or even just googling if you haven’t’ yet.  Working in a retirement community with elderly Americans is one of the most rewarding things I have ever been involved with. Beyond the fact that they are funny as hell, they are genuine, wise and sometimes their mind gets in the gutter. Let me tell you from experience you haven’t lived life until you been cussed out by a 102 year old who’s TV isn’t working during Doctor Phil.

I spend my time enjoying sunsets, sports family and friends. I like meeting and networking with others from all different backgrounds and lines of work, having fun adventures with friends and occasionally doing some writing.  I tweet a lot about sports especially about the Seahawks, Ducks and Zags and golf.
