Storms of life
/I’m sitting here in Eugene, waiting for “the storm of the century” to hit. So far, thankfully it isn’t been very bad in Eugene, out on the coast it has been a different story as they have sustained near hurricane force winds.
What storms of life are at your doorstep? Is it something at work, your relationships or your future that is seemingly under siege? Check out the clouds that surround you and you’ll find a silver lining if you look hard enough. If you keep pushing forward, the storm will blow over. It may not end when you want it to, but it will end.
I’m not an eternal optimist, I wish I was, but I’m working at it. I think it is important to surround yourself with people who are positive. Another thing to remember is your goals. The process of getting to the point where you accomplish your goals may not always be fun or easy, but remember that the process is what will get you where you need to be, so embrace it and enjoy it.
As I’m writing this, the sun just popped out from behind the cloud. There is always hope, until you stop believing that there is. Never stop believing, belief is one of the most powerful things in this world, and if you choose to not let the storms of life knock your belief, you’’ make it and even more you will always have hope!
“Never, never, never give up!”
